My favorite quote from the talk, Pam Warhurst says “Please let us say to every school create a sense of purpose around the importance of the environment, local food and soils. Put that at the heart of your schools culture and you can create a different generation.” I agree with her that if we as a community taught the children of the future the importance of the above the next generation would be quite different.
The most important thing that she taught me was once you understand the importance of the environment, local food and the soil, you must change your attitude into one that “makes it happen”!
