The one on the left is a honeybee, where the one on the right is a carpenter bee.
Honey bees that are collecting pollen are female and the workers of their hive.
The carpenter bee on the right is a male collecting for the hive.
They are both enjoying the sweet nectar from a Thai basil plant.
